This agreement will accelerate the travel technology startup's development on its mission to conquer the world's b2b travel market space. Under the new alliance, Nuitée customers in Mexico will be enabled to pay with bank transfer and local credit card payments – including Mastercard, Visa, and American Express credit cards issued by local banks – and pay in mexican pesos.
With the added option to pay in local currency, Nuitée significantly reduces friction from the checkout experience through online bank transfers and card payment. dLocal helps global companies to offer their customers a simple solution for making online transactions easy, by accepting local payments and settling funds globally without the need to operate a local entity.
Nuitée joins companies like Amazon, Booking.com, TripAdvisor and Zara in trusting dLocal as their cross-border payment solution of choice for emerging markets.
The fintech's API (application programming interface) has already been integrated into Nuitée's booking engine and is available in Mexico. dLocal’s single integration gives merchants access to all operating markets without further integration efforts. As a next step, Nuitée will also include local credit cards and bank transfers in South Africa.
